The Software Defined Optical Networking (SDON) training program provides a comprehensive understanding of next-generation programmable optical transport networks by integrating Software Defined Networking (SDN) with DWDM, OTN, ROADM, and WSON technologies.

The course covers SDON architecture, centralized control, optical network virtualization, network slicing, service orchestration, automation, open networking standards, NETCONF, YANG, OpenConfig, telemetry, and AI-driven network optimization.
